I did this and can confirm that it works. No auto start/stop anymore. Tested over 200 miles.
I did this also the other day. It worked but it knocked out pre collision assist, hill assist and some other braking functions.

To fully shut this off if possible it is upon reading up it should be a function within the BMS (battery management system). I haven't looked yet but a simple test is if the Maverick uses a battery monitoring sensor for the system it should be connected directly to the negative terminal of the battery. Trace it back to the sensor and disconnect then take the truck for a spin and see what happens. If it is part of the system the auto start/stop should not work now. It probably will throw all sorts or other warning messages too. Knowing that if it can be disabled by forscan without creating false steering conditions the settings are going to be somewhere in the BECMB module at the 723-xx-xx registers.

Interesting. Haven’t noticed anything obvious on my end.

It didn't show the errors on engine start but my cluster light up like a Christmas tree with error messages after driving up the block and putting my foot on the brake.

Very interesting. I have NOT experienced that over the 200 or so miles I have driven since the change. Did you modify anything else in conjunction with the auto start stop change?

Nope unless you consider the prior mods I already put in place like Lane Keep System and cruise control. Lane Keep did require a PSCM code change but I don't think that would be conflicting here. I'll test it by setting that back to stock when I get a chance and see what happens.

Did you combine the PSCM change with the IPC option to disable? I did both.

I didn't but I can try it also. With that said if it stops throwing error messages doesn't mean that pre assist collision still isn't working. If you haven't check your DTC codes and also check the driver assistance settings see if you can still set the pre collision assist options.

No DTCs on my end. I’ll check the driver assistance settings.

Can confirm that all OEM braking functions are still working with this change enabled.

I’ve had the module installed for a couple of weeks now, it’s great. No button pushing and don’t even think about it anymore.
