Thanks. Although that appears to be the cable that goes to the DC-DC converter. The connection to the battery is actually the one behind that so you may want to check that as well.Picture

I think the answer to your problems is the replacement of the wiring harness described in Ford TSB 22-2340. I just went through this process and it’s great to have a reliable truck again!Well, sucks to be me!
You're right, it must be the other cable, problem back after several days.
Open for suggestions, tomorrow's project.

I had to wait 5 weeks due to the part being on backorder. By the time it came in, I had to use a jump box each time I started the truck. When the part finally arrived, my dealer gave me a loaner vehicle while completing the repair. This was the first harness replacement by my dealer. They had my truck 2 days to complete the replacement. It’s not a quick repair to replace the wiring harness.I think you might be right
Thanks for the push to the dealership!I had to wait 5 weeks due to the part being on backorder. By the time it came in, I had to use a jump jack each time I started the truck. To satisfy curiosity maybe see if they'll be able to retain and provide the replaced faulty cable. Then perhaps the great aluminum vs copper material debate can be definitively settled. The dealer was awesome! They are ordering the parts for the above mentioned TSB and recall parts. Now the waiting begins.
I will ask.To satisfy curiosity maybe see if they'll be able to retain and provide the replaced faulty cable. Then perhaps the great aluminum vs copper material debate can be definitively settled.
