Hey guys first time posting here, I hope I'm posting in the right area. I'm having a problem with my coolant temp, after letting it warm up and driving it for 20 min or more my temp does really go above 190*. In fact it's running between 170-189*.
I have a 2024 XL AWD 2.0L , the truck has about 10k miles on it. A little back story is in the summer I changed the radiator out for a towing one. Not only for better cooling , but I cut the stock intercooler tabs off the original one when I installed a CV Fab intercooler, so I wanted to be able to go back to stock if I wanted too. About a month ago I drove to Idaho and the hole time going there the truck didn't go above 190 deg. After I got back from that trip I changed my thermostat, think maybe it was sticking open, but it didn't do anything. From my Cobb accessport I can see the temp go from 180 down to 170 just driving normal down the road. When the Cobb accessport reads around 170 I can see the K.O.M drop down to zero, once the temp goes up to stay 175 then the K.O.M will go back up to .564 right now.
Has anybody had this problem, I'm wondering if I have a bad temp sensor!
Other mods that I've done are K&N intake, Borla exhaust, CV fab intercooler and just on the stage 1 87 octane tune form Cobb.
I do also have a tune from Panda , but I swapped the tune back the Cobb because of running problems. Like limp mode over boost codes.
Any help would be really appreciated
