The percentages are for those still waiting to have their order scheduled.
Tim-what's the reality that Ford can build all our Hybrid orders before the end MY22? Or does Ford expect MY22 production to continue until the end of 2022, ie they will still be building in December 2022? With all the contraints, and the hybrid engine being constrained, I can't see how it's plausible that Ford can actually get all our trucks built before 2023. In that case, is Ford going to push many of us to MY23 similar to what they did with Bronco orders? And would we just be put in the que at that point for MY23 orders or would we have some sort of priority?

Production will probably go into June 2022. They have picked up production. They were really only producing a small amount of hybrids until they got the okay to buy. Now that is good, we should see it pick up. Which we have noticed. We had 118 scheduled in December.

I don't know if there will be carry over. They try to keep that to a minimum so hopefully everything scheduled gets produced as 2022.

As always, Tim you are da man! I just worry with the 40% hybrid engine constraint and the lux package constraint, that those aren't going away anytime soon and those of us who have those will keep getting pushed down the line until MY23. You deserve an award from Ford for actually talking to customers and keeping us informed.

Do you think many hybrids will be in dealer stock? I missed the order window and will have to wait for the window to open again. Any guesses on when does normal opens ordering windows?
As far as the story goes all Hybrids going into production for the 1st year are all customer orders, Dealers will have to wait for the 2023 run and will probably be lucky to get them then. What's your take Tim❓

OK lets all be honest about this the official Ford Brochure for the Maverick starts out (page-1) with the first truck with a standard HYBRID and 40 MPG. That was all that was available when I ordered in July. It doesn’t say anything about 40%, or if you want a truck you have to order an EB for more money. Normal perception is that the HYBRID would be (as they stated in the brochure) the standard configuration. I am still looking forward to someday getting that mythical email that states my truck is scheduled. I am only waiting because I love my 2021 Escape Titanium Hybrid with the expectation that I will also love my Maverick Lariat - LUX Hybrid someday.

Correct, my take on that too. May be awhile before Ford catches up with demand.

Hi Tim!

In your stream you mentioned that Ford estimates that 15% of XLT Luxury packages can be built. Is that overall for the 2022MY is that for scheduled orders per month? I placed an order on 12/2 at another dealer that has the XLT Luxury package and I am curious if thats going to cause a long term delay for me.

Thanks!

@fordvideoguy
Those numbers were for January only. And they only are scheduling that percentage based on parts available. So it could delay because about 30% (not sure on this number) of the orders have that package on them.

I'm guessing that I'm one of the few people that flew to Hawaii and didn't get off of the plane.
