I've been using Mobil 1 synthetic forever but any 0w-20 oil will be ok for the hybrid.

As might have been noted, the only consensus on the best oil is that there isn't any consensus.
Rather, there are just varying numbers of individuals who happen to agree on a particular brand and formulation and disagree with groups of other individuals who have differently held opinions.

motocraft FL-400S or equivalent is a higher capacity filter with same micron filtration and bypass pressure specs.
The PG241EX filters were like $4.25 each on rockauto when I bought them in bulk with some other filters and windshield wipers. The OE Motorcraft filters made by Wix / MH are good filters, but if you dig into this Premium Guard company a bit, the filters they are making are actually really impressive units for the money.

I’ve read many articles and suggestions on Maverick preferred oil. I have a 2024 Hybrid and would like to know what is the suggested oil from this group. Thanking y’all in advance.

I generally stick with Penzoil Ultra Plat 5-30 and a ford filter.

learned my lesson on over maintaining vehicles long age( a little better then factory recommends is fine) never got it back on trade or resell, just cost a lot of time and money, one salesman said you can write anything in the logbook.

@El Kabong replied correctly. Use any oil that meets Ford WSS-M2C962-A1 and the correct viscosity. If you are worried, just get the Motorcraft oil and filter. The Motorcraft is not that expensive.

You don't have to sweat oil as much in the Hybrid as it is not a turbo motor. It is easier on oil than the Ecoboost motors. Those have to worry about the composition of the oil as some detergents can contribute to low speed pre-ignition. Those you have to be way more careful about selecting an oil. You can buy the Motorcraft filters on RockAuto cheap and not have to worry about it too.

Best of luck!

Agreed, clean oil and a clean filter is the key. I just bought my first Maverick a month ago to replace my V8 Ranger I have been using for work for the past 11 years. I built that 5.0 motor in 2015 and have put 586,000 miles on it since then. 10w/30 every 5000 miles has worked well for me.

Thank you, about a year ago in that photo. Still looks the same. I love the Maverick so much the poor Ranger don’t get out much any more.

That's great you're loving the Maverick! Well hopefully you still get the ole Ranger out once in awhile. I'd be bringing it to cars and coffee or something like that 👍
