I would like to know more about this setup. Combing through your various posts (not done yet), it looks like you tapped power from the 12V fuse box passenger side, inside the cabin, then ran power to this for the lights.
This may be the solution for a lot of us moving forward to be able to...
Yes I've read that it's a sacrificial metal piece in case it arcs on a jump evolution whereas the only is one piece, as mentioned.
It just doesn't seem like it's able to provide enough power due to its intended design
@AbnRgr I'll take a deep dive into your post in attempts to mimic your power...
@Dad
Watching the Diode Dynamics install video, they tapped power from the BLACK power terminal, not the red terminal as previously discussed/agreed to terminal for hybrid bros
it's been awhile but this is still a no-go correct?
i ask because i do not believe the red post provides enough...
hey hey paneubert!
believe i tried one of those spots with an LED lightbar and it introduced a lot of EMI. Ended up using the horn as the negative. here's what i ended up doing for the Noco 2d. Not wanting to rack up miles on the Mav, been driving the Fiesta for the past 2 weeks. let's...
how are we connecting to the negative terminal in this setup?
i have purchased the Noco and am going to connect but that smooth bore of the negative has me perturbed.
maybe i;ll have some margs and go to autozone and eyeball some solutions
@Dad
build an enclosure to apply the heat evenly in the area vice directly on the bumper to avoid what ValenciaOrange mentioned. should pop out after minimal effort
had a rattle since day 1. brought it into the dealership with a link to the possible culprit and they said couldnt hear it. second i got in and started, startled rattling :-\
Hola! Same power source as you, positive jumper post, with that always on LED. terminal post to have it more snug. However no issues on the Ford Pass. I double nut and a washer on the post.
Purchased this LED lightbar (1) with a license plate mount. Watched a few different videos off the YouTubes. Installation took about an hour(2,3). Issue was the ground. Tried all three points (4) and a suggested point after removing paint (5). I also tried the negative post (6) and a LED strip...
Hello! Would it be possible to get a close up of the lip over the 3rd light? I am thinking about instaling an always on rear facing camera there and want to see if there's room for some tucking.
Thanks
