painted grill bar
It would look good to just paint the grill bar black. The body color cyber orange or a black one brings out the C shape to the headlights so much better.

Looks great with no front plate

If it were blue or grey I think it would look better but overall it’s decent . Too much yellow for me .

Not for me…there’s nothing to break up the sea of color. Very least the fender vents and door handles should have been left black
Agree! There's very little contrast of color, it also makes the truck look bigger.

Here's a look at how the Maverick looks with painted grill bar, front bumper, rear bumper, fender vent trim and hood scoop - match body color (and compared to factory look).

Did you do this work yourself? What was your process for painting the black plastic parts, like bumpers, side runners, and bed trim?

I can't imagine he did it himself, but maybe. Keep in mind Cyber Orange is a tricoat and that's a bit more difficult than a regular paint job.

I love the color, but this example is over the top. Definitely needs the contrast black/gray parts.

I like the front bumper and other touches, but I think the wheel wells, door handles and such needed to stay black.

When you get to the point you're painting rain deflectors, rails and rear bed spoilers, I feel it's just taking it all too far.

Im also curious how much this has all cost. This can't be cheap...

I thought this truck was going to be at SEMA
I didn’t see any pics of it so maybe it didn’t make it
Mac and cheese is all I think of when I see it in pics
Biggest reason I didn’t go cyber orange

One of the reasons for the black trim was to create less opportunity for paint damage in those areas most likely to get damaged from road debris. The other reason, as many have already pointed out, is the break up of color.

I think it's pretty nice overall, would I do a few different things ya, it's your truck, you do you man. Ignore the haters. I'd love to do that with my shadow black, but I plan on doing off road things with mine so it would be a waste of money for me, put some airbags and 22 inch rims n take it to car shows, 💯% gonna get a lot of looks.
