Maverick's Base CP360 does not include lane centering.
scuse me “lane keeping system” doesn’t keep very well.

I mainly got CP360 to get power mirrors on the XL. For the money, I'll be happy if the blind side warning works well. If I get a break on insurance and/or increased resale value, that's a bonus.

I had Co-Pilot added to my 2022 Hybrid Mav. On a scale of 1-5, 5 being outstanding I'd give it a 3.5. For several years had a Honda CRV previous to the Mav and their equivalent ran very well, especially lane assistance so my comparisons are to that. I also have the Mav CoPilot settings to strictest lane assistance. The lane assistance on the CoPilot is weak - sometimes I had it on and on an open road and no one around tested it. It let me drift over the lines frequently which is disappointing (Honda's would strictly keep you in). Sometimes I can drift halfway over the line and it will either resist lightly or jerk you back in the lane. Pretty poor performance IMHO.

The front end collision assistance on the other hand is hyper-sensitive. I have been just nicely cruising along in another lane, no car drifting in front of me, everyone in their lane and it suddenly go off and scaring the heck out of us. Then have had a couple of moments where I came close to backending someone due to them slamming their brakes or cutting in front and stopping and it never even came on.

The best function is the backup warning light coming on when in reverse. It has worked very well.

So co-Pilot is somewhat helpful overall - needs some work though to actually increase safety as it is supposed to do.

That collision warning scares the 💩 out of me when I’m driving up the Hawai’i equivalent of Roman city roads!

Yeah that's why I got it including the requirement of it for the the rear sliding manual window and now they discontinue that. Every single part of this maverick debacle has been a push.

What do you mean by backup warning light? Cross traffic alert?

I also only have the XLT version of CP360 and also see the relative benefit.

The BLIS is self explanatory: an extra aide is helpful to keep track of the movement of vehicles in and around my blind spots.. Do you need it? No but does it make it easier? I think so, considering many folks find the rearview "view" already limited and have removed headrests to compensate. Also applicable if you have a load in the bed obstructing normal view. Also applicable with folks (including me) who find the amount of glare against the interior glass is distracting when driving into the sun at weird angles. It goes double for me with window tinting during dark stretches of highway at night.

Looking for the value in the lane keep assist is a little less direct: At first I didn't see any need for it as long as I kept my eyes on the road and wasn't distracted.. what reasonably attentive person can't keep a vehicle centered on their own? Well, what happens when that reasonable person becomes fatigued on a long road trip where they left early and slept little? What happens when you had one too many ribs at the roadside BBQ and thought you could fight off the itis while making it into the next state? Oh $*#& the steering wheel just guided me back into the lane, let me pull the hell off and get right. Huh, glad I had it on..

I love it. My XLT Lux package came with it. ( a refused delivery). I have never had any electronic assistance, just someone screaming at me from the passenger seat. So, any help is appreciated. I've never so much as had a fender bender...so I guess I'am due. I know better systems are are there, but not at this price point.
Also, being flicked off is occurring less frequently. Old guy, grey hair, baseball cap, dogs out the windows, in a pickup truck...watchout.

I was on the fence about including it on my XLT order and after seeing what all it doesn't come with, I'm glad I skipped it.
BLIS would be nice but I can always add Lane reminder with Forscan which I think will be more useful.

I didn't love the copilot stuff on the last F-150 I drove, it was very intrusive and I found it quite distracting, especially when a guy made a normal city lane change in front of me. The f-150 screamed at me, decided we too close and slammed on the brakes which nearly caused the tailgater in the Silverado behind me to crash into us.
Could it have been adjusted? Maybe. Was it something I was willing to mess with on a rental? Heck no.
