Took delivery of my '22 XL Hybrid on 12/08/22, 5,500 miles on the clock (65% city, 35% highway. 42.8MPG overall average. Even got it for the original $19,995! Not one problem, not one complaint. Love it!
"I" turn 64 this afternoon.. "Blu" (last year's, Birthday/Christmas present) has been flawless for One Year + six days and 5700 miles of ownership!!
Merry Christmas and a Safe and Prosperous 2024, to ALL on this Forum!!

Edit: I guess I spoke too soon...
I just posted a thread on the usage of compact floor jacks, the Maverick's OK.
But, the jack falls a bit short (literally, not enough height). I had to use the "Factory" sissor jack to swap-out my tires...
We have had our 2023 Lariet hybrid 5 weeks. Filled it up for the first time yesterday. We had gone 583 miles and got the message about 50 miles till empty. So instead of trying to hit 600 miles, we got gas. I really love this truck! I had a Maverick when it was a car! It was Kelly green with the houndstooth peppermint green and white vinyl top and interior.
2022 Lariat Ecoboost. AWD, Trailer Tow, Luxury Package, Co Pilot 360, Adaptive Cruise, and FX4 Pkg. picked up a refused order from Granger on 11-30-2022 after they could not get my rollover order correctly entered. I have 9700 miles. I have never had a problem and it has never been back to the dealer for a recall or maintenance. I do all of my own maintenance and am happy with the truck.
4,200 miles on my '23 XLT Hybrid and zero issues. I sold the Avalon yesterday because I no longer drive it, thanks to the Maverick. A big shout-out to Bill Currie Ford of Tampa. I called about the latest recall (turn signal issue) and on the initial call they said it was too new to do anything at this point. The young lady (Lisa?) called back a few minutes later and said she talked to one of the techs who said he knew how to handle it. THEN she offered to send out the mobile unit to resolve the issue right in my driveway. They'll be here Wednesday at noon!
Only have about 2000 miles on my ecoboost lariat but loving it. Only "problem" is the auto start/stop not working unless I charge the battery but don't really care about that feature. I have to say I love all of the safety features which I have never had before. Love the satellite radio.
I have an XLT hybrid ‘23. Have 2000km on it and it runs perfectly smoothly with no rattles, leans, or power issues. It’s an absolute dream to drive and I love it way more than the Toyota tundra gas guzzler that I traded in. Couldn’t be happier. Merry Christmas everyone!
I am a 60-year old Maverick owner. I purchased my Lariat EB AWD, fully loaded, on August 19, 2023 from dealer inventory. I paid a premium over MSRP, but it was the vehicle I wanted and I got the dealer to come down about half the mark-up as it had been on the lot for 1-2 months. No mechanical issues whatsoever as of this posting (knock on wood). I have around 1,700 miles on it.
The only issue I encountered was with the Ford roll-up tonneau cover (listed as an option on the window sticker). The cover was fixed under warranty.
I would buy this vehicle again (perhaps minus the tonneau cover) despite the various issues that others have shared about their Mavericks. My previous truck was a 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E. It too has been through several recalls. I simply responded to each recall and got the issue fixed at the local Honda dealership.
FYI - I passed the Honda Ridgeline onto my son and his wife to use with their business. They love it!
I took delivery of my 2023 XLT FX4 last February, and am loving driving the Silver Bullet! Only has 3600 miles so far. Love this truck. Happy Holidays Everybody!!!
I was there waiting in the parking lot before the doors opened the first day of ordering in 2021 for the 2022 model.
15 months of waiting.
I'm so happy.
Especially seeing people who ordered the 2024 just a few months ago getting their trucks.
