1. the first door detent is too far away from the body. I've had to rest my door against the mirror on the car next door several times to get my things out since it hasn't reached the first detent yet. I will mention that this has always been on the passenger side since I walk over there to get my 2 bags out every morning in the work parking lot. Anybody else noticed this?
2. If you leave the radio on loud when you stop, it blares on at the same volume for several seconds until you can adjust it. The same thing happened on my Subaru.
3. TPS tire pressure sensor is way too sensitive. The first cold morning, it told me two of the tires were low. Of course, the day before with warmer weather, there was no indication. I filled them up and then again, a week later, on another cold morning, same warning again.
4.Too hard to change "sources" on the sound system. I plug in an old-school Ipod and it's a little bit of a pain to have the sytem find it. Once it does, it works great, however. I'm glad I insisted on the 2024 and not the 2025 so I still have actual radio buttons ha ha

Everything else has been working great-The AC and Heat crank! Also, towing the U-Haul trailer 1,000 miles up here was a breeze. No other issues so very happy so far with my purchase.

A minor complaint I've had with mine is involving the A/C. I'll be driving on the highway for awhile with the fan speed on 1 and the temperature on LO. Then, all of a sudden, it feels like a ghost just turned up the fan speed without warning. I get these random blasts of higher speed air for several minutes until it goes away. Have you had that happen yet? Our Bronco Sport did that too.

My truck also has the phantom come and turn up the air intensity. I feel it usually happens when I drive through a bend. It settles down if I change the output setting and the put it back to the original setting.

My A/C was insanely cold when I first got the truck. Now it is just barely acceptable. Brought it to the service department on a mild day and the technician told me I hadn’t turned on the A/C. Smh. My local Ford dealer generally has been terrible at taking care of my issues.

Seat belt status stays on for an hour!
Can’t keep my settings on the screen when I restart the vehicle!
Have to manually change to eco mode every single time I take it out of park or turn on vehicle.

Seems to be something that happens to everyone, I guess it’s programmed to do that. Odd behaviour, but seems normal for this vehicle.

Yup…I have the same problem. I usually just hit the window defrost button and let that run for a few minutes. I do lots of long highway driving and it gets pretty annoying. Lots of theories on this site, but so far no fixes. Does it in manual and auto modes…Brrrr!

I've honestly never had that happen unless i'm in an AUTO mode.

My daughter has a 2018 Explorer that does the same thing.

I also have the "hot ghost passenger" problem. Good, in a way, to know it's a common problem among different makes.

There is a great solution to that problem.

Mymavmode.com

Took me about 10 minutes to install.

Oh yeah, I also had the "low washer fluid" light come on when it was practically full. I guess this is a known issue.
