I have a ‘22 XLT, AWD in Alto Blue. 23K miles and no issues other than the radio but that is just a minor inconvenience. Still enjoy driving it every day.
My '23 XLT hybrid was delivered in April after 500 days of waiting. I only have 4K miles on it, but so far no problems. Love the fuel economy in mid-40's. Main gripe is over egregious documentation in the owner and service manuals. No clear way to determine "if applicable" in too many cases, and too many trivial maintenance items are supposed to involve the Dealer $ervice Bay. I've seen a few minor glitches that look and smell like software bugs but all in all, I'm pretty happy with it. Examples: The HVAC does not always remember its last state, and the fuel door opened on its own when I was working a few feet away from the truck. Nothing major, though. I suspect such software bugs are ubiquitous in all late model vehicles. There are too many arcane interactions between subsystems that used to stand alone back in the bad old days of point-to-point hardware controls. like a real switch.
Waited 11 months for it,Received it in August, live in NJ, Had it 1 week and drove it to Maine then a month later drove it to South Carolina, Put 2k miles in 1 week, Just over 4k miles now, No problems at all, Great gas mileage, Great ride,Love my Heated seats,it's my daily driver
Happy as can be with my 23 Cactus Grey Lariat Hybrid w/sunroof. Got it in August and just passed 10k miles. I have had zero recalls or issues. I have not noticed any sticky brakes and only had the info center glitch twice. First week I put 1300 on it with a trip to New Orleans with 3 passengers. Then another 2300 trip to Florida in November.
I'll actually have a 24 in production in February(ordered before my 23 was built). I'm torn in keeping my 23 and refusing the 24, or trading in for the slight upgrade (lux). Mine is non-lux. The 24 is Lt Lux and BAP. I need to list Pros and Cons of paying $$$$ more for a year newer truck.
+Lux pkg, bap, upgraded bed pkg and tow, 0 miles, renewed warranty
- not sold on the BAP wheels and the contrast in the black and blue interior, the deleted entry keypad and of course, the near 7k added cost.
Keep in mind, I've also tinted and ceramic coated the windows and have installed the Ford hard roll up cover on my 23. I would definitely do the same on the 24. So that's another 1500+ added. Smh the more I talk about it, the less I want the 24. Lol
I was one of the early people to order the new Maverick truck I read about. I was 80 years old at that time (7/5/21), and this was the perfect vehicle to replace my 2015 Sonata Limited, and my 2005 GMC Canyon. I only had to add $7500 to cover the cost for a Hybrid Lariat with all the safety features. I joined the forum, and like everyone says, the info you get here is real, whether good or bad, we let our trucker club members informed on all questions asked! I read these replies every day, and learn something new, and interesting. Happy Holidays to all fellow Maverick owners.
My 2022, Maverick Lariat Hybrid, has almost 10k and I've had it for 2 years. I love my little truck and have no complaints, I get average 40 mpg and tow it behind my rv. It has been great.
