Well I have a VIN and a build date of Sept 5 and Delivery of Oct 8.
So the pressure if off for ordering on Aug 2 for my rollover.
That's alright. I have two orders. One may end up being one of the last 22s, but if not it should be one of the first 23s hopefully. My Chapman order I do not expect until January at the earliest.I trade my xlt lux 360 with your if you want. being built sept 5.
you may endup with a 2023 with an october order i feel that is not a bad thing.. just maybe ~ dec january to wait for
Hello @yakefu,Can I add them back if my truck is already scheduled?
Unfortunately, according to Tim, no. Once you have a VIN I think it’s all locked in.Can I add them back if my truck is already scheduled?
Once your truck is scheduled you can't make any changes to your build. Ford scheduled your build based on the availability of supplies, of course it doesn't always work out that way. So this why Ford won't let you add or subtract items from your order.Hello @yakefu,
As nobody else has responded, I'll give you my free advice. I don't believe you have a direct path to alter a vehicle once scheduled -- but I don't know authoritatively. I think you will need to talk to someone at Chapman or perhaps ask @fordvideoguy to discuss your options.
Hopefully they can provide an acceptable resolution. If not, then I guess you will need to try to appeal to the Ford hierarchy similar to what @Delzona has done.
No you can't.Can I add them back if my truck is already scheduled?
