Can hubcaps be added to 2025 Maverick XL?

Personally I like the “truck look” of the steelies. Wouldn’t be able to add hubcaps anyway, they came from the factory with the balance weights on the outside of the rims.

I saw the weights. Why would they do that? Is the 2025 XL the first to come this way? So my only option then would be to get new rims? I wish I had paid more attention to the wheels when I was test driving.
I can live with them for now. But new rims would take the look to the next level.

Hammered on balance weights on a steel rim won't make any difference for good quality wheel covers. They may even cover the weights.

Bronco Sport alloys with new tires are dirt cheap in Florida. Seriously, I sold my steelies with the tires for more than I paid for my Bronco Sport 18s with better Michelin tires. They look and ride so much better than the steelies with the Continentals.

Hard to imagine putting a wheel cover over the weights. This is definitely going to be a learning experience.

Even the trim rings that I've got pictured in an earlier post will fit over wheel weights.

If the Steelies show through the wheel covers and you don't like that, just spray paint the wheels flat black, to make them much less visible.
