Camera recall

I am also going to wait a bit to be sure it's working as expected, then have it done. And maybe they can replace my battery while they're at it.

I am going to demand that my MY23 Maverick XLT Hybrid 12V battery gets replaced under warranty as it most certainly has a bad or weak cell.

I have been getting Deep Sleep notices every three days even though I charge the battery with a Yonhad Automatic 10-Amp 12V Battery Charger (Link) everytime I get a Deep Sleep notice.

Only one of about four charges gets the battery to 100% whereas most only get to maybe 50-60% which seems like a cell in the battery is weak or bad.

This is very sad... was really hoping for the camera fix, been waiting on my truck sitting at the dealership for 2 months!! And there are no 25's available yet unless i want white.. which I don't...

Will they replace the battery or just keep saying wait until the software update that will fix the deep sleep?

It can't hurt to ask. I've already resigned myself to the fact that I'm probably going to have to buy the battery myself, so it'll be a bonus if Ford actually steps up and fixes the problem.

Actually pretty excited my dealer just got a hook on a 2025 velocity blue he's moving from Wisconsin to Michigan.. should have it in a week. no more waiting for the fix for the 2024!!

My daughter has a 25 XL on order now (I have a 25 Lariat)... it may show up in a couple of months - in the meantime we're waiting on the camera fix for the 24 XLs and XLTs collecting dust on dealer's back lots.

We're hoping for some killer deals on the older 24s once they're finally released and we'll contrast and compare the 25 build she has on the way vs. the 24s out there. May wind up with a sweet sweet deal on the 24 assuming it will have both the battery fix and the camera fix by then (and a roll of the dice on the crappy CV axles) or may just get the 25 with all the improvements.

Money talks but it will have to shout loud for a 24 sale.

They should be able to test that as bad then.
You'll probably have to deal with 1 annoying day after you stop charging it and let nature take it's course.

Just saying , outside of CV axles (though the 25s and redesigned ones on 22-24 we have zero history on) and other couple obvious ones , 25s are starting to show issues as well.

There's a solution to this. Look over your shoulder. It's stupid to rely on any backup camera alone.
