if you have sync3 then that'd explain why you don't have a recall notice for this. it only effects the basic infotainment system

It's 22-24 XL and XLTs. 24 Lariat's are not effected, for 2022/2023 Lariats I believe the stock system is effected, but if you upgraded to sync3(part of the luxary package I believe?) it's not. You can go to the NHTSA site and check for open recalls by your VIN

I'm assuming(/hoping) that one of the reasons this took so long is they really wanted to make sure it was fixed and rock solid. I doubt they'd want the PR, and whatever fines they'd get from NHTSA to release the recall fix, and then have to recall that recall.

I believe that notice ended up being about the turn signal recall(or, recall of the recall) for a small number of vehicles. Could be wrong(and hope I'm wrong!)
