Hello boys,

Co-worker was scrolling through Copart this morning and noticed a couple of Mavericks already posted online!

One caught our eye though, looks like got seared pretty good, was wondering if anyone here recognizes the truck and knows what happened? Doesn't look like a big collision considering front crash bar looks ok.

Maybe it just got caught up in one of hundreds of fires to scorch half of Cali over the last year

Or maybe the recent Colorado fires? I wonder if this would be the burn pattern though? Seems like the whole thing would have damage.

nope they're not normally catching fire, however looks like someone was trying to get a little "extra" power (non stock wheels) my opinion only though...

I'll bet the Owner felt he was smarter than Ford and tried to add/modify/soup-up the original and now Wish They Hadn't!

... so I was putting a vinyl overlay on the front emblem and I had my heat gun turned up a little too high. My bad.

This Maverick was in Santee Ca. I seen it while working. It looks like it was arson because it was parked on the side of a residential street.

So is Santee California close enough to San Diego that the two photos may be of the same vehicle? One photo being on the street and the other in a wrecker yard?

Those wheels are pretty unique. I am almost certain it's the same. Santee is a SD suburb.

I wonder if this was originally a Ken Grody Custom. They've put Niche wheels and Nitto Ridge Grapplers on most of the Mavericks they've done. My condolences to the owner.

Yeah, those are Grappler tires on the burned unit and the same wheels as the Cyber Orange unit you pictured here.
