I pick up mine Saturday. So it doesn't have hard clicks for each drive mode?
Nope you can spin that thing like the wheel of fortune (slight exaggeration) 😉. You'll feel "clicks", but you can spin it 360. Looked at the manual today and it does say you can't get from Drive to Park clockwise and you can't get to drive from Park counterclockwise.
I said nope to hard clicks, but yes there are clicks, not hard in my opinion.

That's unfortunate. I was hoping it would be nice solid stops for each mode.
So I guess my thinking is, if I can knock it into neutral without realizing it, the stops/clicks are not that hard. Now I only have 1300 miles on so maybe it's just learning to deal with it. Was not a big fan of the rotary shifter and told FORD as much on the survey I was asked to do.

I wouldn't worry to much about the dial shifter, it really is easy to get use to, like anything else.
