I think most on your list is subjective. I've spent time in a BBBS and I don't think the build quality is any better. It's a Ford. The materials are also in the same class as the Maverick.

I think the only options you hit on were auto-dimming rear view mirror and homelink - which I agree we should have an option for. Oh, and fog lights.

I agree the BS dashboard is nicer and that Mavericks of ALL trims (especially Lariats) are missing features that feel like they've been removed to spite buyers
I'm sure that's how they manage to keep their price points relatively low on the Mavs. I don't know how ANY man survives in an XL or XLT when his female SO climbs in the passenger seat. I know mine the first thing she does is reach for HER climate control. I can't imagine only having a single zone. Harkens back to the dark ages (a 2005 Ranger FX4 Level 2 was the last vehicle I had without dual zone) and there ain't no going back.

Yeah, I think is a legit list, for the most part. I do wish there were a more luxe version of the Maverick. Or that the $40k+ trim were as luxe as its pricetag suggests.
I wish the Lariat was equivalent to the Escape Titanium. In some ways, moving from the latter to the former was a step down in luxury/features.

People say this, but all the data points to XL's as being the least produced and purchased trim of the Maverick.
I bought the 2024XL and love it. It has the steel wheels I prefer as well as Manual mirrors. The price, Just $24,495. None of that extra stuff to break and simple.

My Female SO is low maintenance. Her Male SO is low maintenance.

Totally agree with you. My wife has a 2024 badlands sport it's quitter inside with better trim quality, fun to drive also with the 2.0 eco.

OK, I’m venting mostly, but… I Received a loaner 2025 Big Bend Bronco Sport today while 25 Mav was already in shop for warranty work 🙄 and I’m a bit disappointed Ford put some things in the lowest end Bronco that my highest trim Lariat Mav doesn’t have.

Instrument Display - my #1 complaint in Maverick. Looked so much better until this 2025 update. Anyway, wow, the Bronco Sport’s looks WAY nicer. Even more truck-like if you ask me.

Drive mode “GOAT” knob in the center instead of on the steering wheel. And lots of modes. No reason the AWD Hybrid shouldn’t have an “off-road” mode.

2) The HVAC is so much quieter. Why? I hate in cold weather on my Mavericks HVAC defaults to warm air blowing on the window. It is so loud I often switch to the vents manually.

3) why do the cloth seats, especially the headdress, I feel so much more comfortable than the leather seats in the Maverick?

4) Broncos sport has a much larger sunroof w/ power shade AND power window. Us Lariat people get a manual shade. F150 Lariat gets a power shade 🤔

5) not on bronco but another complaint- ridiculous there is no self dimming driver, side mirror or rearview mirror on the highest trim level of the Maverick.

6) build quality in the Broncos noticeably ever so slightly better. Not as many rattles, quieter cabin, small things like the rubber trim piece on top of the display screen instead of hard plastic in the maverick.I like the little air vent coming out of A-pillar too.

7) hard to do on a pickup, the ever so slightly bit of extra room in the backseat is huge for car seats and I think this is because the Broncos seats are reclined, just a little bit in the rear compared to the upright of the maverick.

7.5) the overall driving position of the bronco feels better than the Maverick. I’m talking about room in the foot well, the position you sit in, your view, looking out the windows, the placement of the rearview mirror are not blocking the window if you’re a taller person… those things.

8) FACTORY FOG LIGHTS. Come on Ford. Starting to feel like Mercedes-Benz with lack of options and price for the ones you do provide.

9) Homelink!

Homelik would indeed be nice and odd Mavericks don’t have it.

No Mavericks have real leather though. Just fake leather which is arguably better to many. I personally didn’t find the Maverick seats any less comfortable than the Bronco’s, but that’s me.

Well you could buy a Bronco, for more money and have all those things----until you needed the bed.

The fact the Mav doesn't have that junk 3 banger more that compensates for some fancy features, That engine is a pile of poo. Look on youtube about it. The guys I watch say get rid of this vehicle if you have this engine JUNK.

The HVAC on my 25 XLT is so quiet, I forget its on. Honestly I set it at 72 when I drove it off the lot and the only adjustments I've made is to turn off the AC on one of those borderline mild fall days.

3) why do the cloth seats, especially the headdress, I feel so much more comfortable than the leather seats in the Maverick?
This is one of the reasons I went with the XLT Lux package over the Lariat. The biggest was that extra stuff in the Lariat offered over the lux wasn't worth the extra $3k, but I found the leathereqsue seats not nearly as comfortable as the cloth.
4) Broncos sport has a much larger sunroof w/ power shade AND power window. Us Lariat people get a manual shade. F150 Lariat gets a power shade 🤔
I actively avoid sunroofs. Every one I've ever owned has leaked. Even if you keep the drains cleared.

... is a 1990s technology replaced by Apple Home and other home automation technologies. I added an Apple Home kit to my 30 year old garage door opener and don't even have a remote in the truck any more. Just use CarPlay.

Have automation set to open the door when I turn onto my block and close it when I get a block away.

Right? People complain that a totally different vehicle has better options than theirs, so why not just buy that better equipped vehicle?

I agree the BS dashboard is nicer and that Mavericks of ALL trims (especially Lariats) are missing features that feel like they've been removed to spite buyers

But the silent, smooth, QUICK and fuel-efficient driveline makes a hybrid Maverick feel like the Starship Enterprise compared to the lawn-tractor like 1.5 EcoBoost 3 cylinder

You could combine parts from both to make something pretty much perfect. Why Ford doesn't do it is a mystery to me
100% agree here! Just the fact that Mav is hybrid with a more powerful engine is what told me on it versus the BS which is what I went there to buy.
