Best 2025 Maverick Color?

If I remember correctly, I saw the seats of Lariat in blue and Cream color. Will desert sand match with that cream on the seats? Just checked, space white is more like very light bluish color..looks good.

I put ceramic tint all around with 93% UV blocking (even over factory and the windshield) so my interior stays nice especially with Ford’s AC pumping…BUT your point is extremely valid.

Tinting with "clear" ceramic is high on my list of to-do's when my 2025 arrives. I'm wondering if you've noticed any issues with the windshield tint with polarized sunglasses... many tints can cause a rainbow effect while wearing them. Or any issues in general to share? I'm hesitant to film the front windshield without being certain it doesn't cause problems.

My current vehicle has 35% tint front/back/rear and an untinted windshield and it helped its pretty anemic A/C system out immensely. The police near my job are getting particular about tint however and PA only legally allows 70% on the front side windows so I need to tone it down for the Mav.

I liked the cloth seats on my old XLT and I see you have a Lux so you at least have heated seats for winter. I'll be curious to see how the new Smoked Truffle interior is on the Lariat, from the photos it looks like a much lighter and more cheerful than the brown interior on the old Lariat, just didn't like that. The Tremor interior looks so much better on the '24.

I am with you on all of that. I actually hate heated seats but the heated steering wheel is very nice in the winter. Remote start I use just about daily too other suff is meh. TBH I was going to drop Lux package the day I got scheduled and then figured I couldn't.

The cream color is called Smoked Truffle, sounds awfully fancy for a Mav. They describe the trim as Sandstone on the dash on door panels, my Bronco Wildtrak has a Sandstone interior, it's more of a beige color, I think Desert Sand will be fine.

I had the Lux on my old XLT, liked the heated seats and steering wheel not to mention the power seat and mirrors. I won't give up the extras of the Lariat, once you have them you aren't going back.

Although I ordered a Hybrid Lariat in black, I feel like changing the color. It appears 9 out of 10 trucks are black.
Still, undecided b/w desert sand and eruption green. Is the interior of Lariat diff. from the bluish color of XLT?
Which color will match better with the interior.. in your opinion!

To answer your question, Desert Sand will almost certainly look better with the Lariat interior. It's not the SAME shade as the Smoked Truffle accent inside, but it's definitely the closest. That said, Eruption Green is objectively the best choice...

And no, I'm definitely not just saying that because its what I ordered on my XLT...it's also because it's only available this year!

no issues with the windshield and I shared similar concerns as you but my tint guy is ridiculously good and uses a quality film.

No issues with multiple different pairs of polarized glasses and I hate driving any vehicles without the windshield done.

What I did before ordering was to personally see as many of the colors available as possible. The dealer I went to had vehicles in all but the ruby red metallic and space white metallic. Red I wasn't interested in, but I wish I could have seen the space white metallic. No idea what models and years those colors were last used.

After seeing the colors in person, I ended up going with a color that was not one of the top ones on my list.

UV blocking is good, but it's the film's Infrared (IR) blocking that rejects the sun's radiant heat, keeping the interior cooler.

Correct, my bad on that. Definitely is the IR blocking, and it’s awesome.

Color is a personal choice and in the last 8 years I have owned a red Colorado, blue Ranger, cactus gray Maverick (2) and Area 51 so am going with Desert Sand this order. Maybe green next time.

i believe the only job the color has is to be easy to be seen, wether that is by other drivers or by me in a parking lot. Anyway I got green because I like it.
