Back cubby on door

What is the usefulness of the back portion of the door cubby? I understand we can use the front cutouts for bottles and other related items, but the rear pocket inside the door cubby is difficult to access. Any thoughts or ideas what to use this for?

and wanted to know what you do with this odd shaped space.

You can hide small valuables in there when you don't want to take them with you, say at the beach. Watch, phone, rings etc.

I do not have my Mav yet, so I do not know the exact space here. I would say it is for whatever you want that will fill the space. All within legal constraints, of course!!!

I'd like to see aftermarket door panels or sections of panels to make these more useful. Maybe one that has FITS slots, or one that is simply open all the way across with slots for dividers to section the long cubby, etc. Being all plastic, no other material, there is room for SO MUCH customization now.
