I tow my boat that weight is 1700 pounds. Add in stuff, trailer and a tank of gas and its probably over the limit by a smidge. The Mav Hybrid pulls, turns, and stops without issue. I don't drive long distances as my local lake is 12 miles away, but I am confident i the truck's capabilities.
I don't know if this is inappropriate for the forum, but I wrote a book about growing up from 1970 -1980. I'd love to get feedback. Name of book is Heartwood Court and is available on Amazon. Read it if you like, no worries if you don't Here is a link...
Most of the service I did on the Lotus was done by me. Oil change and window regulator is all I had to do. I did have a ignition coil go bad and it also fouled the spark plug in that cylinder so I took it to my local mechanic that I use for other "regular' cars like my SUV. He first said he...
I owned a 2011 Lotus Evora for 9 years. My car is almost exactly like the one you posted! It was a amazing handling car. Very reliable as it had the Toyota Camry V6. I say get one if you can! It is a unique driving expertise that you'll never have from most cars. Especially in the twist and turns!
I tow my 17 foot boat with my Hybrid and it pulls, stops and drives without issue. The lake is only about 12 flat miles from my home and the boat weighs about 1,700 lbs empty. Add in my gear, gas and trailer and I'm probably over the 2,000 recommended, but I'm very please with this little truck!
62 yrs old here.
Had a BMW Z4, a Lotus Evora and SUV all at the same time. Still have the SUV but sold the Evora and Z4 cuz we were tired of climbing out of small cars. Bought the Maverick and Love it. But a part of me still wants to have the Lotus back! Wow, what a car.
I agree. Had the camera active for a few days now, and I have no issues with it obstructing my vision out the windsheild. I barley even notice it anymore.
I love my Tiki Totem! I got it in Hawaii on the big Island. They had it in a tourist shop and I thought it would be a good choice for the cubby. It is made of plaster and I had to grind the little guy at an angle in order to get it to fit snug in the cubby. The Totem is the other half of my...
The camera has motion detection. If someone was approaching your truck, the camera begins recording and the footage is in the cloud. So even if they broke into the truck, it would record them. Although the damage would be done and chances of catching a thief would be small.
You do not have to...
The power comes from the OBD-2 port. The dash cam is plugged into the port. It has a battery safety feature if it sees the battery power is going too low.
Yes, I can adjust the angle of the camera. It does not block vision out the window.
Does anyone know if this nub on the dash has any significance? I plan on installing a ring camera dash cam and part of the mount could cover the dash nub. Wanted to check to see if anyone knows is this will block a sensor. thx
Yes, Folsom Lake is where I typically take the boat. I've had 5 people in the cab while towing and the truck performs excellent. I wouldn't want to try this set up to tow up to Lake Tahoe, but for for my local lakes, it works great.

I pull my 17 foot Reinell with my XLT Hybrid with the boat weighing in at 1650 lbs. empty. Add the trailer, gas, and equipment and I know I am over 2k. The lake in Sacramento that I frequent is about a 10 mile ride. Boat ramps are paved and never...
