The reason for the stop/start mode not working has everything to do with the charge level of your battery. If the battery is not fully charged then your engine will not shut down when stopped at a traffic light. My guess is that your starter will also last longer. If that’s an annoyance for you then hook a trickle charger to your battery overnightI have a 22 awd ecoboost. Wondering how the auto stop start works. I stop Mt truck at a light and it shows the A with a line through it. Does not stop, no ac, truck fully warmed up. I know alot of people would love this not to work. But I have to bring my truck in next week for rear set monitor and acc not working. And am concerned it may be indicative of other issues.
