Anyone having issues with front CV axles?

I guess now its my turn, the wobble started last week. 17k miles. Non modified xl hybrid. I brought it to the dealer Today. Yep right side front cv axle. they told me it is covered under my warranty but unfortunately they dont know when the axle will arrive. I was told they have 2 mavericks needing same thing ahead of mine. So now im waiting for that and my new hard tri fold lid thats defective.

First CV Axle issue started at 3000 Km and the dealer detected the issue at 4000 Km. The dealer changed of the driver side the cv axle, the bearing and all the piece the piece that houses it .

Ford Mexico says that its an isolated case.

My truck remains in the shop due to a knock sound in another place while doing parking maneuvers.

Ford Mexico close my report for second time

Now I´m searching return my truck to change because its an security risk.

I dont think it is isolated.
Many Mavericks suffer from same issue.

Design and/or parts quality issue.
This isn't cheap for Ford to warranty especially since this is covered under 5yr/60k mile warranty.

Anyone know who makes these parts ?

I believe they're actually Hyundai parts. The CV boot band clamps have the Hyundai logo on them

I tried to report to NHTSA but said me that they only atend reports of United States vehicles. I reported the issue with AMIA and AMDA in Mexico. I will hope the ycan help me.

Started with vibration and a knocking soud when drive slowly and turn the wheels for examble parking moves.

Now the knokcing sound after the replacement of the cv axle of the driver side its in the center

I have a non lifted ford hybrid and both CV axles are bad, 32k and have to wait weeks for replacement. Anyone replace with a non OEM axle that is heavier duty. I take it really easy on my truck, but do tow from time to time and I am nearly to 2k limit, but it shouldn't fail and it is a known problem and there has been a software update, but that was done on mine and both still failed.

Literally the same thing just happened to me. At 32.5K miles on my Hybrid, I needed both front axles replaced. Thankfully covered under warranty. They said replaced with better parts.

Did you get the part number of the new CV Axle? I didn't get told the same. It was at least under warranty.

I have a 2022 XL 2.0 with what appears to be a bad inner CV axle on the driver’s side. It has less than 5k miles on it. I put a Rough Country 2” leveling kit/lift on it with about 2-3k miles. The passenger side is fine. I did find some grease coming out of the bottom of the boot. It’s making a clunking noise when you rock of back and forth at low speed. It also shakes a little when I accelerate from about 10-25mph. Alignment was done a few days after the lift was installed.

I took it to the dealer and advised them of my suspicions. They stated that it was most likely the issue, but they wouldn’t cover anything as the lift voided the warranty.

I’ve seen a few things online where people are having the same issue without the lift, so I wanted to see if this is more widespread.

I have a 2023 Lariat Eco Boot and just had my first my first oil change and service at the Ford Garage. Presently around 5000 miles on mine and so far all was looking good from the virtual video they sent me for the service event. No issues with the CV axels. Mine is not modified with any lift kit.

This would be the first I've seen of an upgraded part. Am following, maybe the 2024's already have it.
