Anyone else notice this sticker?

Bet you had the same sticker on your head when you were born, but luckily they didn't throw you away.

Yup, it's an absolute miracle I survived! Though I wasn't dropped, at 8 months old, I fell out of a crib and broke my collar bone. They forgot to leave the instruction sheet (in 15 languages) with my grandmother. Cars didn't have seat belts, there weren't child car seats, I never had a bike helmet, and no gluten, peanut, and sugar free foods! Lucky to be alive, I am!

I jumped out of airplanes for four years for an extra $50 a month pay. Add me to the lucky list. Oh, and maybe the stupid list too.

Were you planning on doing any work on it that you'd be removing these components?
If so, be in the habit of not dropping or tossing car parts - always a good habit anyway.

A workbench? Wood, concrete floor?

Ive seen some sensors added to a piece of equipment when shipped.

Maybe they should have put a sticker like that on the XL/XLT tailgates. May have help prevent the rear camera recall(s)

Why didn't they put that sticker on the 12 volt battery?

As many defective batteries as they've had, I have to believe that back at the plant, picking up that battery and putting it in the truck without dropping it has got to be like trying to pick up an ice cube off the kitchen floor after you're already half a bottle in.

just needed a sticker that reads "scrap this part". dropping not required.

Of course the REAL question is, are they REALLY going to scrap it if it is dropped, or give a quick glance around to see if anyone saw it and install it anyways?

Probably depends on if it gets dented or not.

What if you run into another vehicle. That's probably similar to a drop. Do you have to replace all the "Scrap if dropped" parts?

Our Colorado washboard country roads equals the force of a million drops.
It's mostly just an assembly line worker and Ford mechanic scare tactic! Just to be extra safe and careful. Definitely do not drop on concrete though.

i remember seeing the same wording, on the heater controls. The youtube poster RedNeck Garage, retro-fitted his Maverick with one that had 'Digital" read-out on the control knob...
