This is a very interesting topic for me....

Today just sold my daily driver 2005 Camry LE with 234K miles for $2200 - it surprised me it took almost a month to sell but started price at $2900, too high.
So now I need to decide on a 2018 Kia Stinger GT1 with <15K miles. Best offer I have to buy is the local Ford dealer at $34800...... Have got low balls of $32500 from Kia! I really don't want to sell BUT if the market is really that hot, I'm just not so sure it is for this car - an expensive Kia but a really fun car that can carry the fam, fast! I want / thought I could get $36000. '87 Ranger NOT for sale!

I have to wait. If I get rid of my celica now, I have months of driving my 96 Tacoma to work. This involves a 12 mile stretch of 6% grade.

It's fine going down to work, obviously. Coming home though, up the mountain in temps around 120 (for real) sometimes, it's 55 mph if there's no headwind and 4th gear. Not very bueno.

I miss this celica commercial where the dog ran into it parked and the slogan was it even looks fast....that was funny as hell...probably wouldnt go over today.

I sold my 2019 Ranger the first week of July at the height of used car pricing, and a week after ordering the Mav. I expected those crazy high prices to tumble by the time my Mav was delivered. I pretty much got what I paid for it 21 months ago. I owned 5 vehicles at the time, so taking advantage of that pricing was a no-brainer. I'll live with four until the Mav is delivered (which could be December for all I know).

I'm a little worried about selling my Equinox too soon, but on the other hand I'm 800 miles away from 100,000 so I may get a little more if I'm under. They are selling for a higher price than I figured. I do have my 97 Ranger I could drive, but it has 249,000 miles on it and well, I don't trust it as my commute vehicle. I did put a new Transmission in it though.

Sold my 2020 ranger in June, was gonna get a manual Kia Soul or somethin small when I came across the maverick. Ordered the maverick hoping for a September or so delivery…….. jury out on that, not likely to happen. I wasn’t working, took a early retirement at 37, but have since been called back in due to unfortunate circumstances. So I’m back to work. Wife and I are sharing a fiat 500, she only goes to office 2x week so it’s not too bad. I can also take my electric bicycle or motorcycle if I feel like it.

A teenager today who can drive a stick?
Remember a manual is a millennial anti theft device.
The youngest millennials are almost 30.

That being said, I am worried about selling my manual tacoma, especially now that I've moved further north.

I would be but I'm more worried what the value will be by the time I can trade it for the Maverick. Adding to the worry Toyota is stopping 40% of their production, VW done of theirs and Ford stopping F150 for another week all due to chip shortages still. Let's face it if Ford and the dealers can make large profit off an F150 and they don't have chips for that Maverick may get a halt soon being they are basically an at margin vehicle.

I'm keeping my 2015 taurus limited until I know the maverick works for me. That and I don't like walking.

Not really. I used my 2006 Dodge Dakota as trade in for the Lexus back in late May. Knew I would be ordering a Maverick so I got rid of it when I had a great offer.

Already sold my Caddie SRX PLUS a 1989 Rinker.
Could not pass up the unreal blown-up used market at its peak.
Sold both for over $2k value.
I, fortunately, have my wife working from home now plus I have a motorcycle on nicer days so even though I am in Sales, I can live with the delay, HOWEVER...........HURRY UP FORD!
