Anyone buy Ford's Extended Service Plan for a 2023 Maverick?

I have a 2023 XL Hybrid I bought from a guy with 80 miles on it. Now have 4000 on it. Can I get an extended warranty on it? If so, which one? I plan on keeping it forever.

Yes, you can. The prices for the warranties go up after 12 months of truck age. They all start coverage after the 3-year/36K base warranty, so there is no problem purchasing one now, as long as you do it before the price goes up for a "year old" truck. And even then, you could buy one after 12 months, but it will just cost you a bit more.

If you put in a few details at these links, you can get an idea of the cost. There are multiple dealerships that will cut you a VERY good deal. Flood Ford is one. Granger is another.

Often $50-100 over their wholesale cost. Please look into those other options before you buy it from the dealer you are getting your truck from (who will almost certainly try to take you for MUCH more of a markup).

Please keep in mind that these are the exact same offerings that your local dealer is selling. It does not mater who you purchase from, it is honored and valid at all the same places (every single Ford Dealership Service Department). It is tied to your VIN in the database, not who sold it to you.

Bear in mind that an out of your state dealer may have to be licensed to sell insurance within your state in order to sell it within your state.

Right, but at least for those two providers, they are super clear about that. It is part of why they ask for your state when you get a quote. But it is a good fact to put out there in case some of the other sellers aren't as transparent.
