Not to mention the battery alone would probably easily coat more than the plan.
The Hybrid Battery and other components are already covered for 8 years/100,000 miles from Ford. The extended warranties I've seen don't go past that.

Still debating one myself. 7 yr/100,000 for $910 or 6yr/75,000 for $625. Probably won't get either.

Yeah it's those other components that aren't covered the yank you by the balls when you least expect it.

Granger Ford offers the "cheapest" Ford plan available at Ford dealerships. They are touting "$50 over cost" prices. The table below is from Ford Flood ESP and is expected to be $100 over cost.

Just remember you are buying a warranty for after 36k basic, after 60k power train, and after 80k Hybrid.
