Any Reliable LED for 3rd Brake Light?

I had Amber rear turn signals on my Buick Encore, I replaced with LEDs and they were probably as bright as the fronts on the Maverick. No one could claim they didn't see my turn signal when I changed lanes.
Then, as now. I turn my signal off if I'm at a long light.

One of the first mods I made to my 23 Maverick was Lasfit Switchback front turn signals and cargo lights.
I absolutely love the Switchback white/yellow turn signals. White running/parking then flashes yellow for the turn signal. I don't want anybody to be able to say they didn't see my turn signal.

The drivers side occasionally hyper-blink, if I leave it on too long.
On the exterior they don't seem to Blink as fast as it's showing on the dash panel but they do speed up.
I could see the reflection on the back of a van in front of me.

As for the cargo lights. The driver side is starting to slowly die. I almost had a light a match to see if it was still on.

The Sylvania ZEVO lights I installed for the cargo lights work great. Considered buying red stained glass paint to use 1 in the brake light.
I pointed out to my GF the other day that same cars have red turn signals on the rear and some have amber. We both notice the amber lights much easier than the red. I don't know what model car was turning right in front of us in the city but the red signal was so slim that it was not noticeable. I wish I could have seen the model to Google how often they are rear ended.

I love European style rear Amber turn signals. I wish the U.S. would adopt them.
I don't know why some automakers made front turn signals so small. That if the front headlights are on you cannot see them blinking.

I've been running the XPR bulb from Diode Dynamics for over a year now, it's super bright and has Diode's product backing. I did it at the same time with their cargo lights.

Went with the Fanteli LED the non flashing model. We'll see how long these last. I also have the Lasfit cargo lights and have no issue with them so far. Don't want to change the whole unit yet. Thanks for all the recommendations.

I installed these LEDs last week. They started to melt the reflective material inside the housing. I do not recommend using if you want the housing to remain in pristine condition. Long term effect? Removed.

Noted I will have to keep an eye on it. So far no issue. These look like the cargo light LEDs. I'm using the 3rd brake light LED. I kept my Lasfits in for the cargo lights.

I left the brake light LED installed. It isn't on long enough to harm the housing. The cargo lights were very hot to the touch. Damage noted after 10 minutes.

So I see you can use the Diode Dynamics cargo light LED for the 3rd brake light. Any other decent brands out there?

I've had good luck with Sylvania LED bulbs in the past, and they're super easy to find.

I must have gotten lucky with Lasfit. I purchased mine in July of 2023. They weren't installed until November 2023 when I got my truck. Still going strong.

I used the strobing several times Fanteli light only for the 3rd brake light. No problems after over a year of being installed for all my lights, though my LED signal lights do make my turn indicator inside the cab hyper click...the exterior signal lights flash at their normal speed.

For the box lights on either side I recommend the ones I used in the photo below. You can choose between a stock-like yellow light colour, or white. Mine are same colour as stock halogen.

I think there were 10 in the pack, I used 2 (and I finally found my spare Fanteli 3rd brake light strobing LED bulb!)

For my back up lights at the rear of the truck, I used D15 LED's. Again, no issues or problems.

Here are the ALLA LED bulbs I used for my signal/brake lights. They speed up the turn signal click in the cab, but the lights do not hyper-flash and work normally as well.

No issues with any of these lights, when used on the positions as indicated! All were installed well over a year ago.

I hope no one else experiences melting lens covers.

The LASFIT red led I put in my CHMSL lasted less than a week. Put the second LASFIT red led from the original package in and so far has been working fine the last month or so.

To LASFIT credit, they did warranty swap out the bad red led by filling out their online form and replacements were in the mail within a couple of days.
