I'm thinking about installing a side mounted turn signal where the XLT "vent" is on the side in front of the doors. I've found two options, one from Mabett and an Amazon special. Was wondering if anyone has had any luck with the Amazon special.

I've had good luck with Sylvania LED bulbs in the past, and they're super easy to find.

I have yet to have a complaint about Cooper tires in general. I had Endeavors on my ex wife's Focus and they were great. These ProControls have been awesome, even in a Florida monsoon.

I don't recommend pirelli tires. They're rock hard, wear terribly, high road noise, bad in the rain and ride badly. I've put Cooper tires on a couple of my vehicles and been happy with them. Currently running their ProControl on my Mav and they're great so far. 10/10

The Lariat trim comes with paint to match handles. One of the many mods I plan on doing in the future. I'd paint the factory XLT handles, but I don't particularly like the chunkiness of them, the Lariat spec handles just feel more "premium" if you will.

My first mod was a big one. Ordered Eibach lowering springs and 20" wheels within a week of owning it. I ordered the truck with rubber mats & spray in bed liner. Wouldn't have done it any different.

The Ecoboost has always been an AGM battery, and all that FDRS allows is to reset BMS learned values, I've never seen anything that lets me change specs.

I've been a Ford dealership tech for 8 years and this is how I find out there's an IDS/FDRS-free way to reset the BMS? Also I believe the replacement 12v battery for hybrids through Ford is now an AGM, but I don't stake my reputation on it, I could very well be mistaken.

Unless you get the 4k tow pack, there's no spare tire or tools.

Also this is for a 25/26, if you have a 22-24 it's obviously totally different.

Different style, different finish & primed for paint. I got the p/n by giving the parts department the VIN off a truck on our lot with the BAP, that's the one that came up for it.

Upgrade the grille to the one from the BAP. Still plastic, but looks infinitely better. Only downside is it does not come painted, only primed. The plus side of that is you can paint it whatever color you want.

Also recirculating air with the AC on removes moisture, while running it with the heat will increase it.

The cabin isn't hermetically sealed, there's always some fresh air getting in. There are vents at the back of the cabin that allow some fresh air in at all times. On an Explorer, they're on the side all the way at the back , hidden by the bumper cover. An F150 has them on the back of the cab...

As a service tech at a Ford dealer, I've never had an issue with either of those recalls. If the battery state of charge is below a certain threshold, they won't take but typically putting it on a charger makes it a-ok.
