I have a 23 Maverick XLT. Around 13K The pass rear TPMS stopped working. Dealer reset it and then all was good.
Now 2-3 weeks later all 4 TPMS stopped working but came back to working condition just before truck went back
to the dealer. The system has been reset again but now it appears to be a waiting game to see if it will go out again.
In both cases I received a notice from Ford about an electrical problem. I must mention that this is the first problem
that gas come up out side the norm "energy saver shutdown". Just wondering if anyone else here has had an issue
with said TPMS problems.

Yes.
Intermittently one of my sensors comes up as not working.
If I have my phone with me. I'll have to take a picture of what shows up on my dash cluster.
The warning went away when I restarted the truck. It reoccurred a couple weeks later, the went away when I restarted the truck. 🤷‍♂️

No problem with the Maverick so far, but in general TPMS can be pretty spotty particularly on older cars.

After spending $700 a few years ago to get every wheel monitor and the central receiver replaced on the wife’s Gen 2 Highlander, we gave up when the light started showing a system error again and just put a sticker over the light.

(I check all our tire pressures first weekend of the month anyway)

Only issue has been the wheel where tire has been replaced twice, reads about 0.5 higher than the gauge, and the other 3 wheels. Can tell from the rounding that must be done with the readout.
So the OCD kicks in at certain points when that amount leads to different readings at different temps.

None of my gauges interact well with the valve stem and I usually loose a bit merely checking - so I try to just let it go.

Sometimes a new pack of batteries off a shelf with a far future expire date - really don't last that long and ended up being bad quality.
Perhaps your sensors got a bad batch of batteries.

I haven't seen a TPMS reader that measures signal strength, but I'm sure they must exist.
Not sure if that's what the last column here is giving - battery V, which is just as good.

Oh hell Glenn, you have a flat on the pass rear tire. Does it not look flat? 🤔🤔 I have not disassembled a pressure monitor, but I assume there is a battery in there somewhere or is it powered by the Earth's magnetic field? I actually don't know anything about the TPMS, other than mine show exactly the same PSI today, then tomorrow 1 may be off 2 PSI, then next day 2 will be off 2 or 3 lbs and then by the end of the week they are balanced again. I don't think these sensors are moon shot quality. Your rear wheel that went missing doesn't have a lead wheel weight aligned with the sensor by any chance? 😆😆😆

I doubt it matters but the right rear is the same that went down the 1st time around for me.
The Ford dealer reset it and all was well for about a week, then all four went belly up. The dealer
had it for a few hours and did another reset and at the moment all is well. I was told to make sure
to bring it back if it happened again, that something else could be causing the problem.
I will add that I didn't have this experience while I was using this set of wheels and tires over last
summer. Still just keeping an eye on things. Here's hoping the problem is gone. Been happy with
the truck so far. Save for the lack of a light around the key hole in the darkness of night. Now
I have a small flashlight close by to remedy that problem.

Just disable it with FORScan. Problem solved.

Yes but today it's the driver side rear and the passenger side is okay. See my post #6
Today's went away while I was driving.
Here's the picture.

A couple of weeks ago it was the other side.

The safety people have known for 50 years that radial iires perform best when they have balanced pressure. They wear evenly when balabnced. The TPMS system on vehicles, as required by fed law, I feel are just references and indicate when you should check your tire pressure. I have a digital guage that connects in my air hose and locks on to the stem. I can inflate and deflate until they are with 1/2 psi of each other. The TPS will indicate a wider spread in PSI but close enough for the girls I go with. I think my guage is more accurate than the vehicle. If you get about a 3 psi differential, check them with a good guage.

I just got a flat on my 2024. Took off the tire, put the spare on. TPMS on the left rear errored of course...showed 2 pounds in the spare. I'm guessing spare doesn't have a sensor. Soare had 35 in it when I checked it at home. Plugged the flat tire, 1 inch piece of metal shaped like a small nail just outside the tread, put it back on and before I rolled out the driveway, the TPMS in the truck and on the phone was back to normal. 40 pounds in each tire. Exactly how much I put back in the flat tire (with pencil gauge) when it was off the truck. So far, no issues at all with it reading correctly in the 11,000 miles I've owned it.

22 Hybrid got the TPMS error passenger rear, seemed to reset after restarting. Came on while highway driving. Happened again on the same wheel a few days later also while highway driving. Reset again and now its just on. Are these ones with batteries?

0.5 psi higher??? Lemon Law! Lemon Law!

Just kidding - but I topped mine off at Costco yesterday, and the TPMS matched the Costco N2 compressor perfectly. I also know my TPMS also matches my AstroAI inflator I keep under my seat with <1 psi tolerance. I am good with that, given recent posts about people being 3-4 psi off. Some of us must've just gotten better batches of sensors than others I guess.

I got a low pressure warning yesterday - of course when I was in a hurry to get somewhere. TPMS said I had 15 psi. Tire didn't look "that" low but would hardly budge my pressure gauge. Did a quick visual and could not see any penetrations. Aired it back up and went for a drive. Pressure held steady for several hours and I kept checking the tire every time I got out. Finally found the nail that had poked in between treads. These stock tires seem to be magnets for road crap! Glad to have the sensors and I probably would have driven around on a low tire till someone yelled at me on the road :)
