I called Ford customer service a couple days ago (first time) to see if my order was ok because the tracker said my order couldn't be found. The tracker was apparently down, but when they tried to verify my physical address it didn't match. Apparently the dealer, who I've been buying cars from for 25 years, put their address as mine. Customer service updated it, but I'm guessing that the kit would have mailed to them had we not caught this.

I've only had one other car that "came with something", and that was my 2003 Mercury Marauder that came with a leather jacket. Ford mailed me a VIN specific form to complete and then mailed the jacket to me once they received it. Things might be more electronic these days.. maybe they'll email us to confirm our address then mail it?

Ford has sent me ALL sorts of Bronco trinkets....never anything from the dealer...they ALWAYS arrive from FordMoCo..... hammock.....metal water bottle....poster and more....never sent from a dealer.

I don't know enough about your state bird to make a judgement.

Some of the delays are due to Ford totally screwing the forecast on the demand for hybrids vs. eco-boost. Ford now admits they thought it would be 40/60. Had they done a better job early on, maybe the pipeline for building hybrids would have been better stocked and we would be seeing the correct proportion of both truck types being built.

I got the FITS package with my Hybrid Maverick, I mean its mostly useless plastic junk, the Trash can doesnt really fit well, the dividers were a pain to get slotted correctly, and where in the hell would you even use the cord organizers for the cellphone??

About the only nice thing is the extra rear seat drink holders, but honestly it feels kinda jank so I wouldnt trust them, and you already have holders on the sides of the door.

My Hybrid Maverick was delivered on 12/13. At time of delivery the dealership had no idea about the Fits Kit.

Because of this thread I emailed my dealer at the end of December.

I got a response that the "Fits Kit" was at the dealership with my VIN number on it.

I will be picking it up when my license plates are available.

EDIT: I picked up the FIT kit at the dealership yesterday 2/8. The shipping label for the kit had my VIN number on it.

I mostly agree that the FITS accessories are generally not the most useful. I'll probably keep the trash bin installed on the console for a bit of extra "toss in/out" storage.

Frankly, I think the biggest issue with FITS is that Ford didn't commit enough to the interface. It's not enough for one slot in the cabin and a few under the back seat. They should have added slots in more places like on the back of the seats, glove box, and doors. I mean, it would be super helpful to have a couple slots in the bed of the truck (I might even look to install a couple).

I picked up my XLT Hybrid 1/3/22 and the dealer had the FITS package with the truck. I was expecting a package mailed to my home but this was a nice suprise. I'll probably use the cupholder the most. The rest goes under the back seat.

I just got my fits kit from my dealer. It was sent to dealer 2 weeks after got delivery of vehicle. Dealer called me to ask if I knew what it was just had my vin on box.
