NO!!! I asked the salesman at delivery and he knew nothing about it (I didn’t blame him as I was their first hybrid sale and only second Maverick sale) I emailed the Ford email to sales at delivery and have followed up several times and so far they just don’t know how it’s supposed to work. It appears to me that Ford didn’t pass the word down or a process down for getting the free kits to hybrid owners at delivery.
My XL is eons away from arrival, but I mentioned the kit to my salesman, and he hadn't heard a word about the kits either.

I wonder if people who get their hybrid this year qualify for the free FITS Accessory Kit?
My email from Ford said two things (1) my hybrid will be delivered "next year," and (2) I would get the free FITS Accessory Kit. I assumed I was getting the kit because my delivery was delayed into 2022. But maybe that's not the case.
Did people who are taking delivery now get a different email? Maybe one that says "Your hybrid will be delivered in December and you'll get a free Accessory Kit"?
I'm not saying they shouldn't get one. The hybrids are late in coming. I'm just wondering if they were actually promised one. Does anyone know?

email sounds like FORD will be SHIPPING the kits to customers AFTER you take delivery of your hybrid...I see NO WHERE where it says "ask your dealer" about it....dealers are probably clueless.

You're probably right. I read the email again and it does say after you take delivery. They will most likely ship it to you once they see in their systems you purchased the hybrid. Which will probably be delayed a few months.

Are all hybrid buyers supposed to get the FITS package? I ordered after the email was sent in mid-October so didn't even know about it until I joined this forum. Not sure it only applies to those who ordered prior to that email and who may have had different expectations on a delivery date of the truck.

I would think (but I don't know) that it's for those that received the e-mail, which I believe was early June thru mid-October orders.

I wouldn't know but there is a chance that you might get one. The kit includes a storage bin, cupholder, phone cord organizer, bag hooks and multiple dividers for the underseat storage area. That is what the kit has. There isn't really to many pictures of what the items look like. Here is the screenshot of the email.

Nothing like a small bag of cheap plastic to make up for months of delays
A sack of plastic doohickeys is better than no sack of plastic doohickeys, but honestly, I most likely will be making my own accessories, regardless. I have a 3D printer, but I also have a pretty capable workshop, so once I see the slots in the vehicle, I will be off to the races. In short, I will not likely be sparring with a dealer over a bag of add-ons.
