Am I the only one that ordered the air deflectors?

I used to not get the point, but buying a car with them preinatalled and using them for a while, they are VERY useful to me. I can leave the windows cracked even if there's a chance of rain. In Texas, that's value for me.

That being said, I thought the cost was a good value, but it's it? Well aftermarket be that much cheaper?

What is this Rain of which you speak? I remember the summer of ‘85 when we went 100 days over 100 and 0 precip. Good times at SMU that summer. Or was it ‘86?

Anyway I did not go for deflectors because I assume aftermarket will have stuff quickly, for less and easy to install. I did get the sliding rear glass though so I can run the dual 55 AC system.

Scientists tell us the sun will burn out in 4.7 billion years. I guess that means they will have to finish Central Expressway (US75) in the dark

Well, the point is not the rain, it's always crack my Windows.

No deflectors for me. I have only ever had them once and I found no real value in having them. Living in Florida, the AC is always on, so why run with the windows cracked? The only real value is when parked. I can see the value of leaving the windows cracked but I don't TRUST ANYONE these days. Not that I leave anything of value inside my vehicle, I just can't see leaving the windows cracked where someone can gain access.

Now that I'm thinking about it. It's this the least expensive vehicle with remote start?

I ordered them. Will come in handy when it rains, when it's sunny and I want to vent heat, or when I have the pup in the cab. I don't see them making my vehicle more vulnerable while parked unless I leave my windows down too far.

I used to get into a dozen every morning before school in my Before Christ days. With the window cracked it is easier. All you need is a device/wire to reach down and hit the auto unlock button and you're in. Back in my day, I had to hook onto the lock button and pull them up. With all these electronics it is so much easier.

I'm 66 and retired now. I don't do that stuff any longer, but you never forget how.

With a Lishi decoder unless the door is chipped, decoding the first few discs is trivial. If it’s chipped, at least the alarm will go off, but how many vehicles have chipped door locks, it’s usually just the ignition.

If you are speaking of the window air deflectors, I did order them. I found with many new cars, it's no fun to put the windows down, and I enjoy having the windows down on occasion. (In the winter windows down and the heater blowing full blast is wonderful) I saw a factory photograph with them installed and I thought they fit well and looked pretty sharp. Unless they are truly junk, I found the price reasonable.

I love them! I never really considered them until I started bringing my dog to work with me, and needed a way to keep the rain out with the windows down. Great for cutting down on wind noise when on the highway with the windows cracked, or just for letting hot air dump out when parked on a rainy day.

I didn't order the OEM ones, as aftermarket WeatherTech will be the same price or cheaper, and, if they're anything like the ones on my Tacoma, a little bit lower profile too.

My '08 Honda Civic Si had an OEM alarm that was tied into the power door locks. Manually moving the door locks would set the alarm off. Same goes for my '16 Frontier with the "basic" OEM alarm.

I'm still amazed at how many vehicles still can be opened with a slim jim (not the meat stick kind) even after automakers have supposedly made it harder to get into a vehicle. I've always figured that if they really want your vehicle it's gone, but I still take all the precautions I can so as not to make easy for them to take my Mav!
