AGM for Hybrid

Can anyone confirm what AGM will fit correctly (or at least close) in the hybrid. I can't find any group 99 or T4 in an AGM.

I Installed the ACDelco LN1AGM battery in place for Ford's OEM BXT99RT4-A that was in my Maverick hybrid.

The LN1AGM weighs 32.5 lbs, the BXT99-R is 27 lbs.
They're nearly identical physical size.
The LN1AGM has vent holes at each end of the battery for connecting the vent line and comes with a plug for the unused vent hole at the opposite end of the battery.

I just learned what an AGM battery is! Gotta love this forum. Rhetorical question: Why didn't FoMoCo include it on hybrids where there are numerous complaints of 12v battery failure? [Cost, I know] -

Brought ac-delco agm battery today at xl parts in san antonio tx. Price $213.44+$18.00 core+tax did not won't to order online. Install took little over an hour took my time here is picture of what tools I used just like earlier post fit just fine. 10mm socket and magnetic thingy for battery lower bracket to put back once new battery was in place. Thanks BlueSpec1 I have been wanting to replace this battery in my Hybrid maverick for some time now. Have had the truck for 10 months now everyday deep sleep mode hope this helps.

Have you had any deep sleep warnings since you installed it?

Did you need to do any reprogramming with Forscan to enter the new battery specs?

Any other tips that I should know for swapping an AGM into my maverick?

If I am not mistaken, I think there are different charging programs that needs to be changed in Forscan per the battery type.

Battery Type close in Amp Hours to the LN1AGM's Ah rating.

I don't put on a lot of miles as it's just short trips around town, so I charge my batteries twice a month.

It’s unfortunate to see your Escape SOC getting down around 50%. Hopefully that’s not a sign of an issue.

Escape wasn't driven last week, backed in & out of garage, lots of door open/closing while I installed front & rear dash cam in it.
The battery monitor app SOC% tends to not line up with SOC charts for AGM type batteries.


Two Week trends/readings:

The Escape and Bolt sit for 2 weeks a month. I swap them out for driving.

This gives me hope that installing the AGM battery and using your Forscan settings will resolve my deep sleep/dead battery issues.
