Aftermarket Exhaust for Hybrid Maverick?

I have a 2.5 hybrid can I put an aftermarket exhaust or would it have to get it custom or since it’s a hybrid I won’t be able to??

Why on earth do you want an exhaust for a hybrid? Your engine turns on and off when it feels like it, you can drive around without the engine, at idle it will come on and off when needed - there is no correlation to acceleration/power/noise....

A less-restrictive exhaust system for your hybrid would be a good idea once you've installed a hood scoop (good for 10HP at least) and a Turbo sticker on the tailgate (another 10HP), but only if your truck is Rapid Red or Cyber Orange.

Don't forget about cold air intake and porting & polishing the heads and intake manifolds.

Just to nitpick, there is a linear correlation between acceleration power and RPM in normal driving circumstances. In Sport mode it will even do fake gear changes lol.

But yeah in any other mode that doesn't keep the engine on, you'll probably just annoy yourself with a pronounced exhaust because you'll hear it kick in all the time in various moments during low acceleration driving when switching from battery to hybrid driving.
