I see most commonly a full tank will get you about 560 miles on a Hybrid, which is not bad at all. But 600 miles per tank is a very nice rounded number to have.

If you can routinely get that, what's your trick of driving (are you hypermiling)?

I think this was probably my best tank, I don't do anything special but it's relatively hilly in my area which I think helps quiet a bit. I my commute to work ranges from 40-48 mpg and my commute home ranges between 50-60. MPG when calculated at the pump always ends up being 3-4 mpg less than the computer shows.

Really? - Many of us, myself included are easily hitting 600-700 miles per tank. I'm usually filling up at around 610-630 miles and don't think I've put in more than 12 gallons at any of those fills. I don't like running it much below 1/4 tank, although have only filled it I believe 3 times, with the 4th coming up soon.

I'm just not going to risk overheating the fuel pump to hit 700+ miles, and would rather keep a few gallons in the tank to keep it cool, not to mention water condensation once winter arrives.

Yes, some have even gotten around 700 out of a tank I believe.

The only times I get LESS than 600 miles is when towing.

Key: staying off highways and interstates.

Got 790 miles and was a ways from empty. 800 miles is possible if you do ZERO miles over 55 mph and don't need heat or air conditioning.

I own 10 hybrids for my business eco mode is what’s getting my guy’s the 600 range they try the slippery mode it actually decreases the mileage to 530-550
It's the TX heat.

Slippery is the gentlest of all modes. You know. To keep you from sliding on ice and all that. Probably not paying attention to the nuances of this mode.

Not if you drive like a normal person, in normal traffic.
When I do my interstate trips I usually average about 520 miles/tank in my hybrid because of my lead foot. When I’m in town, with normal driving or on my 28 mile OW commute with 1 stoplight, 3 stop signs and speed limits mostly 50 mph I typically get around 629 miles per tank. Many times my average mpg per commute is between 55 and 59. With my interstate trips and normal driving I have not had to buy the higher priced Florida gas since I’ve had my ‘22 and ‘23 hybrids (2/22)😊

Of course I realize these numbers will change when the temp drops. I’m very happy with the mpg and saving money on my hybrid 👍🏻
