I've had my XL Hybrid for just over 1000 miles now and have been averaging just over 47 mpg in combined city/freeway driving. I've practiced the skills of using the EV mode as much as possible without pissing the people behind me off by being "one of those hybrid drivers". I should have at least 600 miles on the clock before I need to gas up. I can see why this is such this is such a sought after truck.
