You have a product that has more demand then supply and people are upset that it's being marked up. No one complains when dealers discount vehicles when there is more supply than demand.

I bet you're a joy at parties. You have a product that has more demand then supply and people are upset that it's being marked up. No one complains when dealers discount vehicles when there is more supply than demand.
If you're idea of joy at a party is whining about the price of a Maverick, than no I wouldn't be a joy.I bet you're a joy at parties.
Pumping out assumptions faster than Ford can pump out cars. Many of the same people complaining about dealers marking up their cars have no problem selling their used vehicle to Carvana for a huge markup.
Says the one who assumed how I would be at a party....Pumping out assumptions faster than Ford can pump out cars.
you got me thereSays the one who assumed how I would be at a party....
+1. Supply and demand is a pretty simple concept. Dealerships raising the price on those who pre-ordered under the assumption of a specific price is one thing (and we'll all be up in arms if this happens, like it might have with certain dealerships with the Bronco), but I am similarly confused as to why this upsets anybody. Don't buy it, some other idiot will. Why does this upset anyone? You don't have to buy it. The dealerships are dying on the vine. Laying off people left and right because they don't have enough cars to sell. They are simply trying to stay in business.
Times are tough. Tough things happen. Sheesh.....
Da fuq?UPDATE: The dealer left me a VM and said that they bought it from a dealer in Georgia for 8k more than MSRP.
