That about settles it! Daughter likes the color and got some extra goodies for 1400 rather than 2k. Now you just have to watch that some of the really nice goodies on your Lariat don't find their way to her XLT. Good luck, you're a great Dad too!

Thanks the final out the door price for the xlt was good with no extra fees or BS…. Not quite as good as the lariat deal from granger but the logistics of an Iowa pickup didn’t work for her

FWIW, I have an XLT LUX AWD CP360 and I love it to death. I don't regret a penny spent. I love all the goodies I got.

I get that some folks think any Maverick that isn't a stripper XL is money thrown in the air. I tune them out just like I do the crowd telling me I should never have chocolate ice cream.

Edit… it’s the XLT for the win …

Looking to make a purchase off a lot. My daughter will need a vehicle within the next week or so. One dealer has a 25 velocity blue xlt now and another dealer has a space white xl on the way about 1-2 weeks out. Both are hybrids and have only the copilot 360 option. The XLT is about 2k more. We could probably make it week or two without a buy but getting the truck sooner rather than later is a plus.

so…. Looking for good reasons to spend the extra 2k for the 25 xlt or do we wait 2 weeks and get the 25 xl and save $. Assume we’re not really worried about the appearance so don’t care about the wheels or the colors. We need to make a decision tomorrow I think. Okay with the xlt if it makes sense. Thanks.
Go for the XLT, if only for the push botton start. No one wants to be fussing with keys anymore, women have more stuff with then always, and don't need to be looking for a key to start a car. Also the resale value is much better with a XLT, then an XL.

Good point. It's a little thing but it can make a big difference if you're trying to fumble with keys in dark in the rain in the cold. She opt'd for the XLT trim. Thanks!

My opinion, you made the right choice. I faced the same decision for myself back in January, a white ‘25 XL at one dealer lot vs. a Carbonized Gray ‘25 XLT at another. For me, the pushbutton start, rear armrest, hitch receiver, power heated seats, etc. plus not having to replace the steelies outweighed any price savings—plus the XLT dealer gave me a much better deal than on the XL since they couldn’t sell me the near-identical ‘24 gray XLT that was on their lot. I’m extremely satisfied with mine!

The XLT offers a lot for $2k more, but it’s certainly up to you. Personally, I like alloy wheels, push-button start, and the blue is a favorite! I expect resale value in a few years will return much of the price difference, too.

Love my 2025 XL, but you made the right choice.
I can’t tow without extensive modifications. Or even with:

Not with an XLT either.
Oh well, back to a nice tent (if ever)…

Sounds like she'd like the V blue better and take care of it!

Thanks all

She picked up the velocity blue XLT today. Great color looks better in real life than in the pictures. Kudos to Chris at
MULLINAX FORD MOBILE, AL for a great deal .
