I hit a deer head on in my 2016 Ford escape (it was new) and I had a lot more damage. My mom’s 1998 Explorer could take a worse impact. My son was recently sideswiped in it, and outside of some minor damage to the rear passenger door, the only real damage was a broken mirror. They don’t make them like they used to! I am almost paranoid about fender benders with my Maverick. I would have wanted to see if a brush guard would have made a difference, especially in my case with the 🦌 deer (remember that the Escape is similar to the Maverick). I saw a post that one guy got rear ended but his hitched bully bar prevented a lot of damage. Does anyone have experience with front brush guards?

According to the Bible, God created all the animals and then brought them before Adam to be named. Seems that after this event, God noticed there was a bin full of left over parts. He assembled them and made a Moose. so you bumped into several animals. You were not hurt. all is good.:)

Your truck has the “Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection: Scans the road ahead using cameras and radar to identify people. It issues visual and audible alerts, and will apply braking force automatically if a pedestrian is in your path and you don't take evasive action in time.”

Glad your ok & might want to enable that feature for your nighttime commutes.
