To hell with the truck, is the Moose okay? Here's a video of the fun
"Moosen" is the correct term. Just think "oxen" and it'll make more sense. From what I know about moose (mooses? meese?) you got off lightly! Glad you are okay.
Your mirror retrofit reminds me of the "bandage" I make out of paper towel and scotch tape when I cut myself and am too lazy to fetch a Band-Aid.![]()
Hate to see this. But you didn't freak out and lose control. By the looks of it you have bumper, fender, windshield, potentially hood, A-pillar, door, and paint damage down the side. That's just from what I see. Get ready for a hefty estimate.So. Last night I had a run in with a Canadian mass of muscle and bone. Thankfully it wasn't a direct hit but I pretty much mangled the drivers side front corner of my mav. Poor thing is pretty hurt. Looking like it'll be repaired though.
I lost my driver's side mirror in the kerfluffle. But i put a temporary solution using existing holes for the time being until the repair shop can get to it.
Hoping it'll be good as new in a month or so

Are you sure you didn't run into Amber Heard? No doubt he got off easy... I got this from a little Missouri deer a few months ago. I even got "shat" on.

Your response made me smile so I looked at the bio on the side of your post. Go figure, Alberta. I'm retired from the oil and gas industry. I loved dealing with the folks in Alberta. Issues were just issues to be taken care of without getting all bent out of shape and a little humor was usually thrown in. Best of luck on the truck repair.Yessssss been a hot min since i had moose
