My 22 was listed at https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/vinLookup but not on FordPass.

I'm always dreaming.Could be as simple as changing the camera app processing priority from whatever it is to real time just like you can do in a windows computer. Won't change the resolution though and may effect another app(s).
Funny my 13yr old F150's rear camera was glitch and trouble free with sync zero.
For those who are hoping for a hardware upgrade, dream on.
Could very likely be the difference between Sync 3 system that you have in your Lariat and the watered down versions that are on the XL and XLT. Or maybe even certain settings or what you have on at the time (radio, phone connected, etc.). Every morning, backing up in my driveway, the video feed stops for a short time and then refreshes. I accepted it as normal, although, I haven’t seen the same problem in my other Ford vehicle. It is a bit surprising if all you do is look at the camera, one moment you are far away from an object and the next you are almost right at it. I know what to expect so I’m fine, but would love if there was a fix.I've not had an issue with my 2024 Lariat back up camera. I disagree that it sucks or that it is shitty. Does everything I need it to. I suspect that the OP is a little like the some of the off road guy. The truck either does everything perfect or it sucks. No in between. Tells me you don't know how to properly evaluate.
You may be right and I agree this truck's computer hardware is inadequate . However, I have had computer applications that were prone to freezing & lagging that were solved by software updates. It will be extremely difficult to fix this via a software update of the hardware processing power is not adequate enough.
Lag, freezing etc. seems more of a hardware issue than a software one.
They will try but I think it will be difficult.
My XLT FX4 with 03/24 build date definitely has this issue as well. In reality, this recall should apply to any Maverick with the "Connected Touch Radio" (non SYNC 3) head unit.It covers 22-24 Mavericks, build dates 3 Feb 2021- 28 Nov 2023. Over 140,000 Mavericks involved. (They do sometimes adjust the date ranges...so the number of vehicles involved could change).
