And in real life in some types of lighting parts of the blue plastic look gray. And the top of the dash looks a midnight blue.Look at my photos from two posts above... Clearly the Navy Pier was represented as Grey in those doctored photos. Ford misrepresented it on their website through the Build app.
Even screen captures of me running the 360 on both.. Look at the glove Box... shown as a Grey, not blue..

So here is full disclosure: I ordered my MY2024 Maverick with the Black Appearance Package (I dislike the XLT and Lariat stock interiors). I know what it is. It could be better, but I accepted it for what it is. So, I'm not anti-BAP, but I am annoyed by the way it was represented and I knew some buyers would feel tricked.
But based on how it's represented on the Ford's site, I could understand someone not feeling like they needed to second guess the photos and keep researching.
I recall in 1995, my wife and I were ordering a Civic LX in Hunter Green w/ the Tan Interior. Dealer said if we would take a Maroon one w/ a Grey Interior that was coming in, we could get it faster. He didn't have a Grey one to show me, but did have a brochure photo... So okay, that's what I went by and didn't see another image until the car came in months later. Photos Honda published were enough for me.
I can appreciate why the OP would have just looked at the Ford Build site, noted the obvious differences in color that the photos represented.. and figured that's what he was getting, one with allot of grey. I can understand his disappointment, and appreciate why he didn't think it was necessary to continue to investigate the color of all of the interior plastics.
