I'm hearing rumblings of a complete stop sale on 2025's thru the 3rd quarter. Nothing official anywhere. Anyone have any information on if true or not?

I haven’t heard. We have not gotten any such information at our dealership.

That may explain why my tracker went from "Your 2025 Maverick Lariat® has been built and is currently awaiting shipment" on 5/21/2025; and today it went now back to "Your 2025 Maverick Lariat® order has been confirmed." with the 'Order Confirmed' step bolded and the steps 2 through 4 un-bolded.

I'm hoping to take delivery before 7/7/2024 to qualify for Employee Pricing. Definitely following!

As a note, if you ordered it during the employee pricing period, you should be eligible for employee pricing regardless of delivery date.

I ordered on 2/23/2025 and production was scheduled for week of 5/19/2025. Since the initial promotion was set to expire in early June, my dealer put in another order. When Ford extended the promotion date to 7/7/2025, it then looked that we would take delivery in time. What could possibly go wrong? ;-)

I wonder if my 25 is affected? I got done signing the purchase paperwork yesterday morning at the dealer (05/23/25) and drove home at about 11am. Might have gotten lucky!

You got EXTREMELY lucky. The recall was issued on Yesterday. They obviously didn’t look at their list yesterday morning. If they had, you would not have been able to take delivery. If your truck was BUILT on or before April 25, it’s covered by the recall. Fortunately, it’s probably a simple fix because the light is located in the vent. So at the very most it will require the removal of the center vent and either replacing the vent or the indicator. either way, the repair should be simple.

Interesting I just looked at the build date on the VIN tag and it says 4/25. Guess we will see if I get the recall letter. Figures!

I checked with the NHTSA web site using my VIN number and my '25 LOBO is on the recall list. Site said there was no fix for the problem at this time.
My Mav was built 25FEB25

Nope. My first order was placed on 2/23/2025. Second order was placed on 4/9/2025; which would qualify for the discount; but the delivery would be late summer at best.

An update. My tracker from Ford was updated today and back to "been built and is currently awaiting shipment" and moved the expected shipment dates to the left with June 13-19.

Mischief managed. I don't how guys here put up waiting for over a year to get theirs and with all the recalls!
