Some software glitches, maybe but batteries are still the same and CV axles need some miles to really see.

20-30k miles is a sweet spot for those CV's to go.

I was having the same issue and i found 2 work arounds, 1) move the keys far enough so that the Maverick cant pick it up 2) turn off looking for updates on the mobile app. I had the issue put a full charge back on the battery and a week later it started again. Also note the first thing that goes out is the auto stop / start feature, when stop working its begun!

Updates on the FordPass app on your phone?
You probably mean something different.

If your non-moving key fob sitting too close causes a reaction in the truck - you have a bad key fob.

They are supposed to go to sleep on non-movement to preserve their battery life - they'd never make it long sending out signal 24x7.

You might do a test.
Fob lock doors after getting out.
Lay fob within the recommended distance of 3 ft on a table or shelf from front door.
Let it sit for 5 min.
Approach door and try to open with sensor.

The truck picks up a signal that is sent, not just a fob that is a sleep laying around.
