Check engine light came on and I was considering going to the Ford Dealership, after seeing a PO402 code on my OBD2 scanner. (Seems to point to replacing the DPFE 34 sensor.) Dealership said I would have to leave it with them for 3 days so they could fit it in their schedule. Diagnosis it. Then order the part and once it is in, leave it with them for an additional 3 days.
Has anyone disconnected a battery to conduct some kind of sensor work, on their hybrid? Question is do you simply disconnect the ground side of your battery? And then is it necessary to plug in a Memory saver to your OBD2 connector, before you disconnect the battery?
