People can rave all they want about how these modern cars are better and more reliable and you don't have to maintain anything as much as the old days.....but clearly does not work on vehicles for a living. Sure, you CAN go 10k miles between intervals, but oil BREAKS DOWN and continuing to run...
Also was wondering this too, as I ordered mine the day they were released and haven't even had any updates whatsoever to the order. A little aggravating, especially for ones who've already shelled out the money to even get these things, especially for as long as the wait has been for them.
Following the 150k mileage interval on these will absolutely result in premature transmission failure in most cases. Servicing these every 30k seems to be the best advice, and was Fords recommended interval prior to the 8F35 being introduced. And anyone that thinks the ULV Fluid is good for the...
Majority of the comments in here are probably done by people that don't actually service cars for a living, and only see the "dollar amount" as the "rip-off" when the reality of it is that MOST PEOPLE CAN'T EVEN CHECK THEIR OWN OIL, much less a filter, tire, etc. And so while yes, there is some...
If you didn't perform an alignment at the same time, then it's def possible your toe could be out of spec. Even if you "swear" by it tracking straight before the tire replacement, if you just slap 4 new tires and don't do an alignment, the car will definitely drive different.
It is likely that you will have CV Axle failure at some point, some people don't seem to have any issues whatsoever which is questionable but its definitely likely that Ford will issue a recall at some point for these, as they are doing for the 2022 Model Years already!
Got the headlights on order, not too fond of the taillights as of right now but I'm a million percent satisfied with how the headlights will look
The amount of time, effort and energy it would take to make this swap possible is simply not worth it, especially when you can prob trade an XLT for a Tremor for not much difference..
Depending on the temperature differences, this is normal. Tire pressure fluctuates with ambient temperature, for every 10 degrees youll either gain or lose a PSI
They will likely extend this recall/warranty extension to 2023-24 model years, as I had to replace my axles on my 2023 XL @ 34k miles. And I know some people see my truck being lowered and will point out that's what caused the failure, but they were actually failing before I lowered mine...
These actually look decent, I'm starting to see more of the aftermarket Taillights becoming a thing now that look alright as well. Only time will tell if these last or not, and for anyone thinking these could be a bad buy, just think when the LEDs fail in the stock headlights you have to replace...
Installed clear side marker lens and @LASFIT Side Market LED Bulbs on my Maverick! The bulbs are super bright (almost like fog lights bright) and the lens are of a decent quality for being an eBay part. Here's how she sits currently!
There is no way to "turn off" the turbocharger on these engines. They spool up super quick thanks to the integrated exhaust manifold into the cylinder head. Plus a turbocharger runs off of exhaust gases so it literally is impossible to run it without one without doing A TON of modifications to...
EVAP Purge Valves fail due to people "topping off" their fuel tank when filling up. One could argue that there should be an extended warranty on something like that however, they could very easily point the finger at the owner and say "did they fill the vehicle properly?" which was one of the...
Surprisingly, they ride better or equivalent to the stock ride of the Maverick! Granted, I do have my damper settings adjusted to 3-4 clicks away from the softest setting. I'm sure if I decided to dial it in the other way it would ride pretty rough!
Trying to get a manufacturer to warranty a CV Axle for "snapping" during an accident is about as pointless as an unsharpened pencil. Ford did not design the Maverick to drive off of high curbs, so looks like you're SOL for this one!
