2025 Maverick Lobo (Black) public debut at Randy's Donuts
Now it has dawned on me. 
The Lobo is basically the 2025 version of the mid 1990's Ranger Splash. The Splash had a factory lowered suspension with upgraded components, upgraded seating from the Explorer, special wheels with 235-60 tires and no power upgrade from the rest of the Ranger line.
Sound familiar??

Hahaha yeah that's like a 3" drop there esp on the white one and second blue photo. I WISH they came like that.I stole these photos off the Ford website and it looks like they took some liberties with the suspension height. All of the photos of the Lobo in person or videos don’t look as low as the promo images make it look.
I just don't understand two things with this truck supposedly marketed as street performance and autocross,no rear exhaust setup and most importantly the tire choice 
. Great choice of tire for performance. I don't get it. Make a summer performance tire option. Those tires are going to shred with any performance driving.
I shouldn't have to spend 2000$ in tires to make it a performance truck when it's advertised as such.
Otherwise, it looks decent in black with those optioned wheels.

Ford needs to stop the navy pier plastic. This truck would look so much better with dark gray and black interior.

This was a good idea. The path from concept vehicle to production on this was reasonably quick and I hope a lot of people that get them like them.
I just still don’t get that front facia and its blank zones. In black it’s not so bad though.

I’m looking forward to the deep dives into the changes to the powertrains. I expect to have to wait for production units to get into the hands of YouTubers for that.

I didn't realize how much color would affect the area around headlights and grill. The black looks good but the blue doesn't.
I feel the same way. I'm definitely not getting velocity blue or white, and I have owned both before. I am leaning carbonized grey over shadow black.
This truck also has the $100 wheel option so it's nice to zoom in on the high quality pics and look at those closely.
