Hmm I'm on Android when you start it via the app a climate section doesn't appear in the iOS version similar to this.
Finally tried this yesterday. I had started with the remote, then was going to go to the app, to turn it off and back on, just to see. But the app new the truck was on and I could see the butttons. I turned them all on. Got in the truck and the seat and wheel where warm.
I did forget to check to see if they remained on, but must have as I didn’t get cold on my way to my destination.
Then I started via the app. The button area looked different, like I didn’t have chance to change them; I did not even try.
When. I got in, the wheel was warm (wasn’t long enough for to tell with the seat). Started driving and my hands started to get cold. I looked and the wheel was off, but driver seat was on. So the system still isn’t quite right.

Edit: I just used app to start, and pressed on the area showing settings, then I could see buttons to change them. And confirmed they are all on.

Yah that menu doesn't exists in 25s its in the radio display that I showed above there is less going on in the cluster in the 25 even though it's bigger
I am so so glad I got a 2024 Eco.
But I’d still bet the 2025 owners will figure it out.
I cannot believe Ford would remove a so basic function as setting up remote start climate controls including seat and steering wheel heat set up.

My 2024 Eco Lariat has an auto setting for remote start and a climate control button. I like my buttons :D

Anyone else with a 2025 Lariat have the Seat heating and steering wheel heating set to auto for remote start yet it doesn't seem to run. In my 22 auto basically meant if I remote started and it was like 40s and below it ran the seat and steering wheel. On the 25 I have yet to have it start the seats and steering wheel even down to 10 degrees outside with it set to auto. Is anyone else having this issue or found any solution?
Yes it is annoying as all hell. I can't use the remote start feature as a result.

No way !
I don’t buy it. Get back in your owners manual.
It’s got to be in there probably after the 150,000 pages of lawyer speak and warnings.

I couldn’t find the warning to not drink the battery acid…..

Mine did the same thing as yours

I never hung around in the app long enough to see the climate settings once the vehicle is on.

I joked that I hit 40 and turned old but,.....this kind of supports that.

Well once again I can’t help, I don’t own an Lariat and my truck is on a rail car somewhere heading to Granger.

I read the Lightning forums too and this exact same stuff happens to lightning owners. Ford sends out a software update and makes life difficult for owners. they take out useful features, add useless features, and usually don’t tell anyone what they did so everyone is lost. It’s a Ford thing, not a Maverick thing.

I’m right there with you, when my truck arrives.

Today I started with app, confirmed all were on, within the app. Started truck and wheel was off again.
Did the same again later in the day and wheel was on, but the seat at 2 when it has always been 3 since I’ve had it.
So it is definitely not consistent.

Did notice the seat was on 2 and prefer 3 but I’m just happy it it’s working to that degree.

I tend to agree.
I just wish it was at least consistent.

Tested with key fob yesterday. Wheel was warm when I got in, but it too was not correct once I started it. Wheel was off, seat at 3. Next I did the app and ended up with Wheel on & seat at 2.

Mine is the same as yours Mark. I guess this got overlooked during the 4 week quality hold. Hopefully just an update to make it right

Yup.
Mine even came with the little sticker saying it was picked for test drive; came with 50 miles on it. They probably just do a vehicle noise kind of test (check for rattles and squeaks).

My 2024 F150 Lariat does the same thing - No Heated Seats or Steering Wheel upon Remote Start.

This glitch goes beyond just the Mav.
