2025 HVAC?

I've noticed in my 2025, that the HVAC is on when the truck is started (not remote start) even when it was not on when the truck was last shut off. it was warm enough to not need the heat this morning so I turned it off on the way to work. When I went to lunch and started the truck, the heat was already on. Anyone else noticed this issue?

I've noticed in my 2025, that the HVAC is on when the truck is started (not remote start) even when it was not on when the truck was last shut off.

If you have your HVAC set on Auto mode, next time you do use the heat, try changing the system from Auto to Manual mode.

Mine is not set to auto, but I have the same issue. Eruption Green Lariat Hybrid in MD.

There should be no reason for climate to automatically turn on of it was left off during last drive unless you remote start.

Maybe this is a feature on the 25s under certain conditions it turns on otherwise I'm not shocked there are bugs in the it's been perfected over the years in other cars sync4 system

No remote start today and it was on when I started the truck. AUTO not on, and found nothing in the settings for it. On when we left Sam’s club, and again when we left rural king?

On my 2024, the HVAC stays the same as when I left it. But if I remote start on a cold morning, it throw the heated steering and seats to max hot but retains my last temp setting. I wonder if there's a "smart" sensor to find the average it should be.

But then again IDK what software changes they may to the 2025. Sometimes its perfect and other times its too much. Overall pretty good IMO

This happens to me in my 2025 Maverick Tremor.... Remote start with HVAC functions properly. but if i have the system off and go back and start the truck normally the HVAC usually always comes on no matter the temp outside.... kind of annoying.

May or may not matter and it isn't 100% consistent for me but if I turn HVAC off with the fan and little 0-15 slider it tends to come back on when I restart.

If I turn off HVAC by swiping up and hitting the power button for it in the upper left corner it seems to keep it off better at restart.

Doesn't seem like it matters with mine... I have turned it off both ways and the issue still happens.

1 push ok to seatbelt;
2 push ok to get to last drive mode;
3 push 4 buttons to get my cards back up on the dash;
4 push the parking brake button then the OK
5 turn the hvac off
